Essex County Store Sells Lottery Ticket Worth $1.7 Million

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A store in Essex County sold a Jersey Cash 5 lottery ticket worth $1.67 million for the Friday, Aug. 7 drawing, officials said.

According to New Jersey Lottery officials, the ticket matched all five numbers, capturing a $1,669,143 jackpot.

The ticket was sold at Tremont Liquor on Sanford Street in East Orange. The store will receive a bonus check of $2,000.

The winning numbers were 20, 24, 30, 31, and 45. The XTRA number was 03.
