Join rangers for the Great Backyard Bird Count starting on Friday February 18th and continuing through Sunday February 20th. The program will be held each day at 12:30 p.m. at the Glenmont Estate. Visitors must go to the Laboratory Complex on Main Street to sign in before the program. Learn more about bird identification, migration, as well as how birding was part of the Edison family’s life at the estate. During this activity, visitors can record the number of the various types of birds they see at the estate. Their observations will contribute to a wide-ranging list of birds that migrate through our area. The results will also be used to track migration trends across the nation.
