All West Orange families with special needs members are invited to attend this years ice cream social aptly called Sunday Sundae. The event is scheduled for Sunday, April 10th at the Katz Civic Center beginning at 1:00 PM. The cost is $3. per person. All attendees will make their own sundaes from a variety of ice cream flavors and toppings. Musical entertainment will be provided as well as some other fun activities.
Sunday Sundae is being co-sponsored by the WO/Orange Chapter of UNICO, FOOTSTEPS for the Exceptional Child, PASSE and the Mayor’s Program for Individuals with Disabilities. UNICO’s Garden for the Exceptional Child will be open for inspection just outside the building. The award winning facility provides garden plots for special needs families. Representatives will be on hand to provide interested parties with program information.
