Under the Sea, a four hour Dance-A-Thon Extravaganza to benefit Special Needs Services at JCC MetroWest, will take place on Saturday, February 4 at the Leon & Toby Cooperman JCC, Ross Family Campus, 760 Northfield Avenue, West Orange. Doors open at 7:00pm. Dancing begins at 7:15 pm. The event is chaired by a committee of 25-30 teens from the MetroWest area representing schools such as Millburn High School, Livingston High School, Solomon Schechter Day School, West Essex High School, and West Orange High School along with individuals with special needs and family members. The committee is working on securing donations and sponsors for the event as well as donations of raffle/prize items to be awarded to Dance-a-Thon participants as they dance under the sea. A variety of foods will be served, including ziti, salads and desserts/snacks.
