Evolution Lacrosse Academy to Hold Tryouts for Select Club Teams

Evolution Lacrosse Academy, a premiere lacrosse-training program in Northern New Jersey, will hold tryouts for two new Evolution Boys Select Travel Teams on Sundays, Sept. 20 and 27, at Van Brunt Field at Montclair Kimberley Academy in Montclair.

“Our goal is to create more opportunities for players in Essex County to grow and develop,” says Evolution Lacrosse Academy Founder & President Matt Podwoski. “Evolution Lacrosse teams will focus on skill/player development and excellent coaching.”

Tryouts for a 4th & 5th grade team will take place from 1-2:30 p.m. Tryouts for a 6th
& 7th grade team will take place from 3-4:30 p.m. Advance registration and a $50 registration fee are required.

Registration is also now open for Evolution Lacrosse Academy’s Fall Training & Game Play. Training sessions will take place on Sundays, Oct. 4-Nov. 15 (excluding Nov.1), at Van Brunt Field at Montclair Kimberley Academy.

Sessions are available for Mini-Laxers (Grades K-1, coed), Girls (Grades 2-4 & 5-8), and Boys Training and Small-Sided Game Play (Grades 2-4 & 5-8).

Van Brunt Field is located at the intersection of Bloomfield Avenue and Lloyd Road in Montclair.
