Fatal Shooting In West Orange, Victim Shot Multiple Times: Prosecutors

WEST ORANGE, NJ -- A fatal shooting took place in West Orange on Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

According to the Essex County Prosecutor's Office, West Orange police responded to the 100-block of Lakeside Avenue at 12:22 p.m. after getting a report about a shooting. Officers found an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:44 p.m.

No arrests have been made as of Sunday evening, authorities said.
