North River Sing Community Chorus to Perform at West Orange's Green Hill
The performance is scheduled to take place Saturday, Jan. 30, featuring the music of the Great American Songbook.
West Orange residents are invited to come out of the cold and enjoy the music of the Great American Songbook on Saturday, Jan. 30 when the North River Sing Community Chorus of Hudson County performs at Green Hill in West Orange, located at 103 Pleasant Valley Way, at 4 p.m.
North River Sing was founded in 2014 to offer residents of Jersey City and neighboring communities the opportunity to learn and perform the rich music of the Great American Songbook while simultaneously experiencing the unique joy of singing together as a group. “North River” is a Dutch nickname for the part of the Hudson River located between Manhattan and New Jersey, intended to reflect the chorus’s openness to members from all over the Garden State as well as its programmatic link to Broadway.
