Crash Causes ‘5-Mile Delay’ On Garden State Parkway: 3/19
Drivers on the Garden State Parkway near exit 147 saw delays that stretched back five miles on Monday afternoon, reports say.

EAST ORANGE, NJ — A crash caused a five-mile backup on the Garden State Parkway just before the Monday evening rush hour, reports say.
NJ511 posted that the right shoulder was blocked due to an accident on the northbound stretch of the highway near exit 147 - Clinton Avenue in East Orange.

“As of 3:35 p.m., there are delays on the Garden State Parkway northbound from Union Toll Plaza in Hillside Twp to South of Exit 147 - Clinton Ave in East Orange… 5-mile delay.”
