Get ‘Fitter On The Roof’ With JCC MetroWest In West Orange

JCC MetroWest announces the return of in-person group exercise classes with the launch of their “Fitter on the Roof” outdoor fitness program. Being held on a covered portion of JCC MetroWest’s parking structure’s roof, the initiative launched on Monday, June 29 to the delight of many fitness members who attended the available classes while remaining safely socially distanced.

Open to active members only, fitness classes are being held daily, Monday through Friday, featuring the J’s finest fitness instructors. Spin, cardio, boxing and more are on offer; members may sign up via JCC MetroWest’s website or app. For those who are not able to attend in-person, Fitter on the Roof classes will be posted on the J’s Facebook and YouTube pages thereafter.

JCC MetroWest prioritizes the health and safety of our community above all else. All participants must complete a health screener prior to arrival, wear a mask both before and after class, bring their own equipment and remain at least six-feet from other individuals at all times, following government guidelines.

Sharon Tobey, Group Exercise Director, states "We're so thrilled to welcome our members back to the J to safely continue on their health and wellness journeys and to realize their fitness goals.
