Hayden Moore Takes Helm Of West Orange Public School District
Dr. Lauren Schoen, who has served as interim superintendent for the past 14 months, will serve as a district consultant until July.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — Hayden Moore was appointed the acting superintendent of the West Orange Public School District at the board of education meeting on Monday.
Moore will serve as acting superintendent until June 30. He will fully assume his superintendent role on July 1.
“I'm looking forward to what's next,” Moore said. “I am so honored to be your new superintendent and be a part of our West Orange community.”

Dr. Lauren Schoen, who has served as interim superintendent for the past 14 months, will serve as a district consultant until July 1.
“I've been fortunate to work with one of the finest administrative, teaching, and support staffs that I have ever worked with during the course of my career,” Schoen said.

“I am grateful to have fostered relationships with many of our parents and community members, who have advocated for their children and our program,” Schoen continued. “I have been appreciative to have been able to work alongside an extremely supportive board of education, and I have been privileged to gather together with the community to recognize an exceptional fall sports season at West Orange High School.”
