Fatal House Fire Claims Man’s Life In West Orange, Victim Found In Bedroom
An investigation continues into a fire that killed a man in Essex County, authorities say.
WEST ORANGE, NJ — An investigation continues into a fire that killed a man in West Orange earlier this week, authorities said Friday.
The fatal fire took place around 1 p.m. on Wednesday at a townhouse on the 100-block of Clarken Drive, according to a statement from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the West Orange Fire Department.
Firefighters arrived at the scene to find Sean S. Tracy, 55, in bed in the master bedroom. He was transported to Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston and pronounced deceased at 2:04 p.m.
