How Many Students Enrolled In West Orange Schools? (See Latest Tally)

WEST ORANGE, NJ — West Orange school administrators shared current enrollment numbers during this week’s board of education meeting.

On Monday, Acting Superintendent Hayden Moore presented a slideshow on the West Orange Public School District’s 2023-2024 budget, which the board approved by a vote of 3-2. Read More: Tax Hike Imminent As West Orange School Budget Hits Finish Line

As of March 17, there were 6,844 students enrolled in the district’s 13 schools:

• West Orange High School – 2,148
• Edison Middle School – 484
• Liberty Middle School – 530
• Roosevelt Middle School – 505
• Betty Maddalena Early Learning Center / Washington – 123
• West Orange Early Learning Center / Preschool Providers – 126
• Gregory Elementary School – 448
• Hazel Avenue Elementary School – 328
• Mt. Pleasant Elementary School – 352
• Kelly Elementary School – 471
• Redwood Elementary School – 429
• St. Cloud Elementary School – 430
• Washington Elementary School – 470
