Missing NJ Man Has Been Found, West Orange Police Say (UPDATE)

Police were searching for an elderly man last seen near the border of West Orange and Orange. He has been found, authorities said Wednesday.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — UPDATE: West Orange police said Wednesday that Timothy Rolinson has been found. Our original article follows below.

A police investigation into a missing person case continues in the Oranges, authorities said Monday.

The West Orange Police Department released the following advisory last week:

“We are requesting the public’s assistance with locating a missing person. Mr. Timothy Rolinson was last seen at approximately 4:25 p.m. [on May 16] near the Central Avenue, Orange border. Mr. Rolinson is an elderly male who suffers from memory loss. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket [and] black sweat pants with a blue hat. Anyone with information is asked to contact the West Orange Police Department at 973-325-4000.”

The missing person case is still under investigation, police said Monday. No further information was immediately available.
