July 4th In West Orange: Closures, Trash, Jitney (What To Know)

WEST ORANGE, NJ — West Orange will make some changes to municipal services for the Independence Day holiday on Thursday, July 4.

Here’s what to know if you live in the township, according to a municipal advisory:

“All West Orange municipal offices will be closed on July 4 and reopen on July 5. There will be no jitney service and no regular trash or recycling pickup. The next regular pickup will be on July 5 for trash and bulk trash. The next recycling pickup will be Monday, July 8. If your trash collection falls on July 4, your next collection will be on Monday, July 8.”
