The Junior Lacrosse program in West Orange is now accepting applications for the upcoming spring season. Junior Lax is expanding this year with the addition of a 3rd & 4th grade traveling team to complement the existing 5th/6th grade team and the 7th/8th grade team. Each of the teams play a home and away schedule including tournament play. In addition, players in grade K-2 can participate in the “Little Lax” Clinic held on Sundays. The clinic is run by Dan Lederer the new Head Lacrosse Coach at West Orange High School. Suriano Stadium, complete with a new state of the art lighting system, is home base for the West Orange Junior Lacrosse Program. All games, practices and clinics are held on the turf field.
Junior Lacrosse is run by the West Orange Rec Dept. Registration forms are available on the Rec website – www.westorange.org and will be distributed through the schools in January. As an informational follow up, Rec personnel will be making lunchtime visits to the public schools beginning in March.
