Kim Zimmer Of Guiding Light To Headline West Orange Play: Old Love New Love
Emmy-Award winning actress Kim Zimmer of Guiding Light fame will star in the world premiere of a new play at Luna State in West Orange.

West Orange, NJ - Emmy-Award winning actress Kim Zimmer of Guiding Light fame will star in the world premiere of a new play, “Old Love New Love,” kicking off at Luna Stage in West Orange on Thursday, April 7.
According to a news release, Zimmer is best known for her portrayal of Reva Shayne on Guiding Light, where she received four Lead Actress Emmy Awards along with eleven nominations.
Zimmer is also a stage actress, recently wrapping up a record-breaking tour with the first national company of Wicked.

Luna Stage writes that “Old Love New Love is a funny, moving, and life-affirming play about the challenges of caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s Disease and the lengths we go to in order to honor the lives of those we have loved.”
The play will run Thursdays through Sundays from April 7 to May 8.

The theater will also host a meet and greet with Zimmer at 5:30 p.m. following the 3 p.m. performance on Sunday, April 17. During the meet and greet, Zimmer will read an excerpt from her memoir, “I’m just Saying!,” and take part in a Q&A session about her career.
Tickets for all events can be purchased online here, or at the box office Tuesday to Friday, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
