LA Fitness Location Coming To West Orange

There will soon be a new place to burn some calories in West Orange.

Construction has begun on LA Fitness’ first Essex County location, Essex County Place reported earlier this month.

The club will be located near 471 Prospect Avenue along the entrance road to the Essex Green Shopping Center, and will feature an indoor pool and a basketball court, Essex County Place stated.

The project’s developers – Bloomfield-based Prism Capital Partners - secured a build-to-suit lease and construction financing for a 48,000-square-foot in April, NJ.com reported.

Prism Capital Partners stated in April that it anticipated completing the building before the end of 2015.
