Local Businesses Owner Encourages Shopping Small

Small Business Saturday supports small businesses during one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year — between Black Friday and Cyber Monday

Having worked at major corporations all his life, local business owner Moses Scott says he's never been happier — Scott's small business, , provides home care and assistance to the elderly in Essex County.

"It's the most satisfying business I've ever worked in," he told Patch. "I bring a smile to people's faces ... we bring joy to people's lives."

Scott began his business nearly seven years ago in West Orange and joined the Chamber of Commerce in an effort to promote local shopping and network with other independent business owners.
