Man Dies In East Orange Shooting; Police Investigation Continues
"At this time, no arrests have been made," Essex County prosecutors said Monday.
EAST ORANGE, NJ — A fatal shooting took place in East Orange shortly after midnight on Monday, authorities said.
East Orange patrol units were dispatched to the 100-block of North Munn Avenue, where they found Prince Sweeney, 35, of East Orange, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Sweeney was transported to University Hospital in Newark, where he was pronounced dead at 12:27 a.m., according to a joint statement from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the East Orange Police Department.

“At this time, no arrests have been made,” prosecutors said Monday afternoon.
