The 2010 Mountaineer Touchdown Club will host its ninth annual Beefsteak Fundraiser Friday, 6 p.m., at the Toby Katz Center (Degnan House near the tennis courts) at West Orange High School.
The event benefits the West Orange High football program. Price is $45 per person with all the filet mignon you can eat. Drinks and a free raffle ticket for a door prize also are provided.
Football coach John Jacob said that the event drew about 100 last year. The event is sponsored by the Mountaineer Touchdown Club, which assists the program.

The season begins Friday, Sept. 11, at home against West Morris at 1 p.m. The Mountaineers finished 4-4 last season.
