Essex County natives Scott and Mark Kelly will return to West Orange to be presented the township's first "Mayoral Medals."

West Orange, NJ – NASA’s famous astronaut twins will be landing in West Orange on Thursday.
Essex County natives Scott and Mark Kelly will return to West Orange to be presented the township’s first “Mayoral Medals.”
The Kellys will be honored at the official "Kelly Family Day" on the steps of Town Hall by Mayor Robert Parisi, members of the Township Council and other members of the municipal government.

In addition, West Orange School District officials plan to hold a renaming ceremony at Pleasantdale Elementary School, which will take on a new moniker on Thursday in honor of the Kellys.

The renaming ceremony will be live streamed via the West Orange Public Schools Facebook site here, school officials stated.
