“The Pollinator Garden was funded by a 2019 PSE&G Municipal Sustainable Jersey Grant Award. The garden was designed and built by volunteers from various West Orange local organizations including the WO Open Space Commission, WO Environmental Commission, Liberty Middle School students and Science teachers. The next phase of this long-term vision project, delayed by COVID, is this educational component to incorporate QR codes. The QR codes will provide information, lesson plans and activities on the different plants now in full bloom in the Pollinator Garden.”
