New Burlington Store Coming To Essex Green In West Orange

WEST ORANGE, NJ — A new Burlington store is coming to North Jersey, the company announced Wednesday.

The major retailer, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory, will be opening a location at the Essex Green shopping center at 495 Prospect Avenue in West Orange this fall. A specific opening date wasn’t available.

The West Orange location will bring the retailer’s stores in New Jersey to a total of 42. People seeking to apply for a job can visit the company’s website.

As with other Burlington stores, the West Orange location will have:

• Clothing and accessories (adult and child)
• Footwear
• Baby items
• Home décor
• Pet care products and toys

“The safety and well-being of our customers and associates remains our top priority, and we encourage our customers to follow local and CDC safety guidance,” the company said in a news release.

According to a statement from the “off-price retailer,” the New Jersey-based company compiled Fiscal Year 2021 net sales of $9.3 billion. The company operated 866 stores as of the end of the first quarter of Fiscal 2022, in 46 states and Puerto Rico, principally under the name Burlington Stores.
