By applying to the West Orange Police Department, you may qualify for a secure lockbox to be installed on your exterior door. This lockbox, owned by the police department, will contain a spare key to your home, allowing first responders to enter quickly in the event of a medical emergency or other emergency situation.

Each lockbox has a unique access code, which will only be provided to police officers when an emergency call is made by you or on your behalf. This program eliminates delays that often occur when officers are unable to enter a home and will allow them to provide immediate assistance without causing damage to doors or windows.
