Optimum Bringing Fiber Internet To West Orange By ‘Mid-2024’

Optimum is expanding its "100 percent fiber-to-the-home network" to West Orange, the company announced.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — Optimum is expanding its “100 percent fiber-to-the-home network” to West Orange, the company announced Monday.

Residents and businesses in West Orange – as well as nearby Montclair – will be able to access Optimum’s Fiber Internet, TV and phone services for the first time, according to a news release from the company.

Optimum Mobile services have already launched to customers in both markets.

Optimum expects to begin offering fiber internet services in Montclair and West Orange by mid-2024, spokespeople said. For more information on Optimum’s fiber network build and to learn when Optimum Fiber will be available in either township, residents can visit optimum.com/Montclair or optimum.com/West-Orange.

Optimum currently serves more than 200 communities across the state of New Jersey. Over the last several years, the company has invested hundreds of millions of dollars upgrading its network across the state with 100 percent fiber technology, which has enabled the delivery of symmetrical internet speeds of up to 8 Gig, spokespeople said.
