         16th Annual Bocce Tournament 

At Panevino Restaurant  July 17th, 2013

The Orange/West Orange Chapter of UNICO National held its 16th Annual Bocce Tournament at Panevino Restaurant in July.  Traditionally, this event, chaired by Joseph Vena, is the first meeting of the new UNICO year.  Chapter President, Frank DeMaio welcomed over forty participants to a spectacular evening of food and fun.  Last year’s champions, John DiNapoli, Eugene LaRoche, Frank Paolercio and Chris Tomasello, repeated their success and won an exciting final game with nine unanswered points, coming off a six to six tie.

            Next year’s tournament has already been scheduled for July 16, 2014 and this year’s champions are planning for a threepeat.
