WEST ORANGE, NJ — A “proud West Orange resident” will be taking the helm at West Orange High School as its new principal in November.
On Monday, the West Orange Board of Education voted to approve the appointment of Oscar Guerrero to the top administrative position at the high school. Guerrero, who is currently principal of Memorial High School in West New York, will take over his new post on Nov. 20, when Hayden Moore assumes the position of assistant superintendent of schools.
Guerrero said it is a “proud honor” to serve as the district’s next high school principal. The jubilant educator thanked the board, interim superintendent Lauren Schoen and Moore for their support. He also acknowledged his wife, Jessica, and two of his four children, who attend Redwood School.
