Prosecutor: Husband Driver Struck and Killed His 71-Year-Old Wife Outside North Jersey Church

The fatal car collision that killed a 71-year-old pedestrian is currently under investigation.

The fatal car collision in which a man’s car struck and killed his 71-year-old Morris County wife outside a West Orange church is currently under investigation, according to acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray and West Orange Police Chief James P. Abbott.

Eun S. Park, 71m of Randolph, was struck around 8:12 p.m. on Sunday in the parking lot of Antioch Presbyterian Church, located at 616 Prospect Avenue, by a car driven by her husband.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. At this time no charges have been lodged. The name of her husband is not being released.

Medical responders rushed to the scene and found Park unresponsive. She was pronounced dead soon after, nj.com said.

Antioch Presbyterian Church calls itself a Korean-speaking ministry partnering with Covenant Fellowship Church. The church also provides services in English.
