Proposal At West Orange Nursing Home On Zoning Board Agenda

The board is scheduled to tackle several items, including an application for campus redevelopment at Daughters of Israel.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — The West Orange Zoning Board is scheduled to tackle several items at their meeting on Thursday, Aug. 18 including an application for campus redevelopment at a local nursing home.

According to the board’s agenda, Daughters of Israel, a nonprofit, non-sectarian, long-term care facility at 1155 Pleasant Valley Way, is seeking C1, C2 and D variances with preliminary and final site plan approval for a project that would “redevelop the campus into a continuum of care community offering independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing components.”
