Pruning Slated For 2 Ailing Trees Near West Orange Town Hall
Workers may remove two trees that are in "severe decline." New trees will replace them, if so, town officials said.
WEST ORANGE, NJ — Workers may remove two trees in front of West Orange Town Hall that are in “severe decline,” officials announced Friday.
According to a municipal advisory:
“Rich Tree Service will be performing maintenance pruning in the front of Town Hall on Friday, May 12. There are two linden trees that are in severe decline in front of the building. The township will continue to manage and monitor these trees.”
“Should they have to be removed for public safety reasons, new trees will be planted,” officials said.
