Readers Pick Best Pub to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day

Residents were torn on what the best pub in town is to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

But, after a week-long vote, mustered a first place win by one vote.

Open since 1976, Gaffer's Pub is a neighborhood pub with a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Customers can enjoy wings, hamburgers, ribs or fish and chips along with their beer.

Harrison Avenue Tavern, Dillon's Tavern, Egan and Sons, and Halligan's Public House came in at a tie-breaker second.
