Dates revised to May 27 and 30 for service between 7:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.
The West Orange High School Mountaineer Auto Shop is proud to announce its 1st Senior Citizen Oil Change Week to be held May 27th & May 30th during regular class hours of 7:30AM to 2:15 PM. All West Orange senior citizens are welcomed to call Ryan DelGuercio to make an appointment for service at 973-669-5301 x31529.
Students will get to apply their automotive knowledge by completing “live” work and running the program similar to a retail auto shop. Senior Citizens will get a labor free oil change. Customers are required to bring the proper oil and oil filter for their make and model with them to their appointment. NAPA auto parts in Cedar Grove is extending the school discount to all senior citizens who inform them that they are purchasing the oil/oil filter for the “Senior Citizen Oil Change Week”. The oil change should take about 30 minutes and will be performed at the West Orange High School Auto Shop on campus at 52 Conforti Avenue.
“This program is designed to benefit both the Senior Citizens of West Orange and the Automotive Technology Students at WOHS. It is also a great event where our community’s diversity is celebrated through the interaction between the Senior Citizens and high school students, “ said Ryan DelGuercio, Department Coordinator.
