Road Rage, Car Theft Reported In West Orange: Police
Two vehicle-related incidents recently drew West Orange police officers to the scene.
WEST ORANGE, NJ — Two vehicle-related incidents recently drew West Orange police to the scene: a stolen car and a road rage-related argument.
The West Orange Police Department released the following details about the incidents, which were both reported on Sept. 29:
- Car Theft – A Forest Hill Road resident told officers that their 2023 Acura MDX was stolen curbside in front of the residence during the overnight hours. Several hours later, the motor vehicle was recovered in Newark, authorities said.
- Road Rage – Police responded to the Dunkin’ Donuts on Northfield Avenue after getting a report on a dispute. One of the drivers told officers that they got into a road rage-related argument with another motorist in the parking lot outside the business. The second driver then assaulted the first driver and fled the area in a white Audi sedan, police said.
