Mark La Mond returned to Rock-it Pizzeria, 560 Valley Road in West Orange, as chef and new owner of the pizzeria on Thursday.
"Mark is just going to add his own touch while keeping it the same," the manager Liz Puglio said.
The pizzeria also will expand to next door, opening a sit-down, dine-in area with BYOB for about 25 people in June, when the landlord finishes the remodeling of the building.

"We're going to wow the city of West Orange," Puglio said.
