UPDATE: East Orange Girl Missing; $10K Reward To Help Find Her

EAST ORANGE, NJ — The search for a missing, 14-year-old girl continues in New Jersey, authorities say.
According to East Orange city officials, Jashyah Moore was last seen around 10 a.m. on Oct. 14 at Poppie’s Deli Store at 520 Central Avenue.

Authorities asked for the public’s help finding the teen last week. She’s still missing, they said in a Wednesday update.
“We are asking everyone to please be aware, keep sharing and report anything suspicious to the East Orange Police Department at 973-266-5041, 973-266-5030, or 973-266-5060,” authorities said.

According to police, Moore is 5 feet, 5 inches and weighs about 135 pounds. She was last seen wearing khaki pants, a black jacket and black boots.
“East Orange police, the FBI and the NJ State Police are working in collaboration to help find Jashyah and bring her safely home,” city officials said.

Essex County Sheriff Armando Fontoura’s Crime Stoppers Program is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the location and safe return of Moore.
East Orange city officials said:
"The missing young girl’s mother told authorities she last saw Jashyah on October 14 after she never returned from a morning trip to Poppie’s Deli at 520 Central Avenue, not far from their 3rd Ward home. Since then, the EOPD has been working in collaboration with the FBI, the New Jersey State Police, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Essex County Sheriff’s Office to follow all leads related to Jashyah’s whereabouts."
