Sex Assault Charges After NJ Mom Finds Texts To Daughter: ECPO
A South Jersey mother found text messages on her daughter's iPad from a 42-year-old East Orange man. He was later charged with sex assault.
Prosecutors charged an Essex County man with sex assault after he allegedly lured a South Jersey juvenile into an East Orange boarding home on multiple occasions, authorities announced Thursday.
According to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, Michael Bordo, 42, of East Orange, was charged with sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child and luring – all second-degree offenses.
Prosecutors said that the assaults allegedly took place between Oct. 1, 2018 and March 5, 2019 in an East Orange boarding home, where Bordo brought the South Jersey juvenile.

The alleged sex assaults came to light when the victim’s mother discovered inappropriate text messages on her daughter’s iPad, prosecutors said.
Bordo is being held at the Essex County Correctional Facility in Newark.
