Silent Peace March at Hazel Ends Black History Month
Hazel School marches in silence Wednesday morning
Holding peace posters and waving the American flag, students from Hazel Avenue Elementary School marched in silence Wednesday as a tribute to Black History Month.
Students in Mr. Ioshpa's class led the march down Hazel Ave. to Valley Road to Mitchell, and up Mitchell back to the school.
The Silent Peace March was part of the students' studies reflective of Black History Month. Principal Ed Acevedo accompanied the students.
