South Mountain Blues Festival 2017 Promises Free, End-Of-Summer Fun
Got the blues because the summer is ending? Turn pain into pleasure at the free 2017 South Mountain International Blues Fest.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Got the blues because the summer is ending? Turn pain into pleasure at the 2017 South Mountain International Blues Festival in Essex County.
The annual festival will take place from noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10 at the Cherry Lane/Oakdale Picnic Area at South Mountain Reservation in West Orange, according to a news release from the North Jersey Blues Alliance (NJBA).

According to the NJBA:
“An annual late summer staple in northern New Jersey, the South Mountain International Blues Festival is a day for lovers of all music genres. Presented free of charge on the sprawling acreage at the base of South Mountain Reservation, the festival is a relaxing and fun day for music fans of all ages. Now in its 8th year, the festival continues to grow in popularity throughout the region. This year the festival will feature live streaming interviews with performers before and after their on-stage appearance. The festival’s location, laid-back atmosphere, selection of food and drink from local eateries and its abundance of passionate performers makes it the perfect end-of-summer event.”
