Summer Youth Internships With Essex Prosecutor Office (How To Apply)
Interested students must live in Essex County. The deadline for applications is March 10.

Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens II invites Essex County high school students to apply for the 2025 Summer Youth Internship program.
This unique program is designed to provide county high school juniors with hands-on experience at the ECPO as well as a deeper understanding of the vital role of law enforcement in Essex County. The five-week program runs from Monday July 7 through Friday August 8.

The program also includes workshops, seminars, college tours, and cultural trips. Students will receive stipends upon successful completion of the internship.
“We are excited to offer this opportunity to young people in our community. It is an important way to engage the next generation of leaders in public service while also providing them with valuable skills that will benefit them in the future”, said Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens II.

Interested students must reside in Essex County. Applicants must be self-motivated individuals with a strong interest in law enforcement. All applicants are required to attend an orientation and participate in an interview for consideration.
