Three Pleasantdale Students Recognized in Essay Contest
Brianna Dannemiller won the contest while Geetika Komati and Anna Deer were named honorable mention.
At an assembly held on May, 2nd at Pleasantdale Elementary School three students were recognized by Essex County Bar Association member Ruth Lowenkron, Chairwoman of the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, for essays submitted to the ECBA’s Essay Contest on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Fourth grade student Brianna Dannemiller was named winner of the essay contest, Geetika Komati earned honorable mention for fourth grade students and Anna Deer earned honorable mention for third grade students.
“Congratulations on an outstanding achievement for these three students and all West Orange students who wrote essays for the contest,” declared Interim Superintendent Jim O’Neill.
