Toll Booth Worker Robbed On Garden State Parkway In Essex County: Police
The man allegedly drove into the toll worker's lane, handed her a bag and demanded money, police say.
East Orange, NJ – Authorities reported that a man allegedly robbed a tollbooth attendant on the Garden State Parkway in the Essex County area on Sunday.
NJ State Police told NJ.com that the man allegedly pulled into the toll worker’s lane at milepost 146.9 around 3:10 p.m., handed her a bag and demanded money. He then allegedly shoved the worker back, grabbed money from her drawer and drove away.
Authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident, NJ.com reported.
