Town Budget Workshop In West Orange Postponed (Update)
The proposed municipal budget in West Orange currently has a tax levy increase that tops 6 percent, a council member recently said.
UPDATE: The workshop scheduled for May 1 has been canceled. A new date will be announced, officials said. Our original article follows below.
WEST ORANGE, NJ — A virtual workshop meeting for the 2025 municipal budget is scheduled for later this week in West Orange.
The budget meeting will take place remotely at noon on Thursday, May 1. No public comment will be heard.
