Township Continues Rebranding Efforts in Marketing Campaign
New logo, tag line created

West Orange's marketing initiative is rebranding the township as the place "where in invention lives." The new tag line is part of the marketing campaign led by resident
Sutherland, owner of Direct Ignition, is working together with . The companies and Sutherland were contracted for a total of roughly $30,000.
Project manager and public information officer for the township Jessica Glicker reported on the progress of the campaign before township council last week.
Glicker said the town had made steady progress toward incorporating the new logo and tag line in various local commissions. She said the township's official . She admitted, though, outreach on social media networks has been a "hard nut to crack" as many residents are subscribed to NJ.com's Facebook page assuming it's the official town Facebook.
Among other projects, Sutherland has produced a Welcome to West Orange video and is completing a weeding video that showcases the town as the wedding capital of New Jersey. Glicker said several other videos wrier coming down the pipeline as well, possibly related to small businesses, the school system and senior assisted living.
The project will not exceed 12 months.
