As the 2016 election season heats up, Del Frisco’s Grille locations nationwide are offering “Political Burgers” featuring two burgers modeled after the leading Presidential candidates.

Here’s how the chain describes its ode to Trump:

“The Donald is an extravagant throwback to the classic American burger, a nod to his infamous promise to ‘Make America Great Again.’ Stacked almost as high Mr. Trump’s proposed wall, this burger consists of two well-done patties, heirloom tomatoes, Bibb lettuce and aged cheddar on a gold bun (what other kind would be fitting?). Mean tweets not included, but little pickles are.”

The restaurant’s tongue-in-cheek jabs at Clinton are just as juicy:

“The Hillary is a burger so good, readers will be saying “I’m with her” after the first bite. Like Mrs. Clinton’s infamous emails, the ingredients are kept under wraps- literally. To find out what’s actually on the burger, emailTheHillary@dfrg.com.”

Representatives of Del Frisco’s Grille had this to say about the motivation behind the promotion:

“The Grille is known for great burgers – creating Political Burgers allows us to further showcase what we do best while putting a playful twist on this year’s election. Because it should at least taste good, right?”
The promotion runs until July 31.
