Turtle Back Zoo Hiring For Seasonal Jobs

WEST ORANGE, NJ — If you’re a job seeker who has been wanting to get your foot in the door at the Essex County Turtle Back Zoo, here’s your chance.

On Tuesday, officials announced that the county is hiring seasonal help for the spring/summer/fall season at Turtle Back Zoo, as well as the Essex County South Mountain Recreation Complex, Safari Mini Golf, Paddle Boats and Treetop Adventure Course.

Essex County will be hiring “in all departments” during job fairs on Saturday, Jan. 27 (from 9 a.m. to noon) and Sunday, Jan. 28 (from 3 to 6 p.m.) Both events will take place at the New Education Center at 560 Northfield Avenue in West Orange.

Available positions will include:

• Waterfront and Mini-Golf Managers
• Cashiers
• Guest Relations
• Animal Helpers
• Maintenance
• Tree Top Attendants
• Ropes Rescuers
• Camp Counselors
