I’ve posted the video of the March 25 town council meeting online at http://bit.ly/QpRtGt. The town typically posts the video to the town website and public access television on the Thursday following the meeting, but has not done so as of this posting. I typically post the video along with my West Orange Patch post on the council meeting. That post isn’t ready quite yet, but I’m posting the video in case you’d like to see it sooner rather than later. The video is indexed so you can quickly find particular issues to view.
The meeting included the council's authorization of the potential funding of $1.5 million to pay for successful property tax appeals, along with a warning of a total of approximately $3.35 million in successful appeals this year. The council's actions also included approving improvements for the town wading pool that are roughly double the estimates of a year ago at approximately $260,000 and approving creation of two high-level administration positions. The agenda and related materials for the meeting are here.

If you’d like to contact the council with your thoughts on any of these issues in the meeting video, please send an e-mail to council@westorange.org or call 973.325.4155 to leave a message.
