As we celebrate Chanukah, Jewish Family Service of MetroWest NJ (JFS) is proud to provide services to address the ongoing mental health needs of our community as well as those that have arisen due to the war in Israel. Recently, JFS provided professional training for clinicians on Attachment Based Family Therapy and celebrated the graduation of the current class of Rachel Coalition 40-hour volunteer training participants.

JFS Maxine Myers Volunteer Services kicked off the season of giving with Thanksgiving meal deliveries to 155+ homebound older adults and Holocaust survivors. An additional 153 deliveries were made for Chanukah including a brisket dinner, sides, dessert, challah, jelly donuts, candles, a dreidel, and gelt. During Café Europa, the socialization program for Holocaust survivors, JFS will be hosting a special Chanukah celebration.
