Volunteers & Interns Needed for Fall 2014

Are you interested in a rewarding and fulfilling experience as a volunteer or intern? Do you love working with kids and spending the day around horses? Rocking Horse Rehab is located in West Orange, NJ. We are a pediatric rehabilitation and family wellness center specializing in equine assisted therapies along with alternative and traditional therapeutic programs. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life of individuals with disabilities and their families by offering innovative opportunities for clinical, educational and social development through equine assisted therapies and other alternative therapeutic programs. Rocking Horse Rehab offers volunteer and internship opportunities in the following areas:

• Hippotherapy
• Developmental Riding
• Therapeutic Riding
• Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy
• Speech, Physical, Occupational Therapy
• School Programs
• Field Trips

Volunteer Hours:

· Monday 3:00-6:30

· Tuesday 12:00-6:30

· Wednesday: 1:00-6:00

· Thursday: 2:00-6:30

· Friday: 9:00-6:00

· Sunday: 9:00-5:30
