"Voting rights are under attack as state after state has enacted voter suppression laws, Americans must vote to save our democracy from those who would destroy it,” WOAHO Historian Brent Scott said.

The John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act (HR-4) and The Freedom to Vote Act (HR-1). Both measures were passed by the House of Representatives in 2021 and are awaiting passage in the U.S. Senate.
