Water Main Breaks In West Orange

The break was caused by a crack in a 6-inch water main around Lincoln Avenue and Pleasant Valley Way.

Several West Orange residents temporarily lost water pressure after a water main break hit the Lincoln Avenue and Pleasant Valley Way area on Tuesday evening.

West Orange town officials sent out an advisory about the water main break on Tuesday night, warning residents in the area that they “may experience a temporary loss of water service.”

The break was caused by a crack in a six-inch diameter water main, according to Peter Eschbach, a spokesman with New Jersey American Water.
